In the context of Hasanuddin University’s participation in the TUNE project, this initiative aligns with global commitments under the 2030 Agenda, in which decent work is positioned as both a driver and an outcome of sustainable development. This direction is further reinforced by the 2018 ASEAN declaration to promote green jobs as a pathway to reducing environmental impacts through labor market transformation. In line with projections from the International Labour Organization, the transition toward decarbonization is expected to create up to 24 million green jobs by 2030, with a significant portion emerging in Asia.
